Moyes - get him IN
Easy choice for me. The time has come now to act. Allardyce has done everything asked of him up to now, but the time is right for change.

The owners have backed Allardyce this window and he's fucking it up. Couldn't have supported him finance-wise any better.

Moyes' experience at Man Utd didn't turn him into a bad manager. Look how much his replacement is struggling there for further proof.

Great manager for Everton, got something to prove after last job.

Act now G&S.

Arsenal already had Ron Greenwood when we signed him - he was their assistant manager (and England U21 manager).

If he had waited a year, he may have got the Arsenal job, as their manager resigned.

A few times??? The way a few go on he's a club legend. He was an utter utter cunt and basically walked out in us for nothing.

B .... I think that one's been done ( a few times!)

Anyway.... rather a manager that wants to be here than one that has previously rejected us (Moyes) or appears to despise everything the club stands for (BFS).

I'm not saying he's a bad manager but I just don't see this whole "Bilic is the new messiah" thing that's peddled on here a lot.

As for "knowing West Ham", he was hardly with us for a long time, was he?

Moyes is a good fit for West Ham, IMO. COuld do similar with us as he did with Everton as I feel we are similar in terms of support/fanbase and potential.

Wouldn't be averse to Bilic but I don't see how he's any better suited than Moyes.

Bilic fucked off after 18 months when offered more Money, the cunt. He 'gets' West Ham?

Don't you get it? The only criteria for a suitable manager is that another prem club has tried him out first.

Bilic understands and likes West Ham... he has said he would like to manage us... he 'gets' West Ham.

Bilic has had reasonable success at both international and club management.

Bilic is young and charismatic and will improve as a manager.

No brainier in my book..... GET BILIC IN NOW (or more realistically at the end of the season!... just get him in though!!!)

Given a straight choice between Moyes & Bilic, I would choose Bilic

Moyes was rumoured to have turned us down when he was Prestons manager after Redknapp got sacked

I have always rated Bilic as a footballer, manager & person. He is a bit of a rarity, being a football person with a lawyers degree!

Could use the Diame money to get rid of sam and get Bilic in!

Commer, bilic said he has had seven offers to manage English clubs but has never said who but he has said he would like to be our manager.
Surely he must be worthy of a punt with a great win ratio like he has.

Slaven bilic's claret and blue army.

The question about Bilic comma is who will be the Premiership team that gets him as manager?

People on here have got to rediscover a bit of ambition ffs. What we need is a young, ambitious manager out to make a clear mark.
Ron Greenwood was sought by all the top clubs and was earmarked for Arsenal, we got him. If we can't get a British manager with the knowledge and skills we should go for someone like Bergkamp. (After all, we ain't flying anywhere in the near to mid future!)

Comma

I don't thikn he is a 'big deal'. But, he did well in his first three jobs, at Split (short term cover, he was an owner), u21s and then Croatia national team. Didn't go great for him in Russia but then again this is when a lot of Russian owners were losing money personally and not putting a lot into their teams, not sure whether this is partly to blame or not as no idea what their transfer were like at the time. Now at Besiktas, doing well, finished 3d last season.

The question about Bilic that I would like answered is if he is such a big deal as a manager why has no Premiership team employed him as such?

Question 1: If Bilic hadn't played for us, would you still clamour for him?

Question 2: If you answered 'Yes' to question 1, what top european league success/proven development of home grown players is this based on?

This is why you are wrong. No one has ever successfully got passed question 1
Good question Sidney but it's easily answered it's all about Slaven bilic's managerial stats his got a 55% win rate that's world class with all the class with only the very best managers getting close. Sir Alex all lots consider to have a great record of success retired with a 59% win record.

I remember when we were playing Arsenal away in the cup I think it was, during a striker crisis, and rumour was we were going to start Pearce up front as we had done before, so had a cheeky tenner on him to be first goal scorer at 50’s. Lo and behold, he started at centre back, which was a waste of a tenner.

Until he came up for a corner and scored the opener! WALLOP
